Anything Is Possible
I remember getting let go from three different companies, and every time, I was devastated. What did this mean about my identity? Was I a failure? Was I destined to be an average human being?

Deep down inside, I knew I was capable of so much more.
Fortunately, through working on myself, I realized that improvement is possible.
I hated my filler words, and I'm still working on them... 300 podcast episodes later. It's possible to improve.
I started to numb myself with substances and food. My unhealthy addiction to eating when I was sad made me feel so guilty.
I was finally forced to deal with my demons. Either I ran away from my problems, or I tackled them head-on.
By becoming comfortable with myself, without the distraction of video games, food, and constant socializing, I grew stronger. I realized that I am enough without the accomplishments, awards, and status of working for world-class organizations.
I realized that I am capable of so much more than I could have ever imagined as a young child and into my young adult years.
I realized that all my self-doubt and empathy, born from my traumas, can be used to help others improve their lives.
It hasn't been easy, but being vulnerable and openly sharing my struggles can help other human beings.
“Freedom to pass back and forth across the world division, from the perspective of the apparitions of time to that of the causal deep and back — not contaminating the principles of the one with those of the other, yet permitting the mind to know the one by virtue of the other — is the talent of the master. The Cosmic Dancer, declares Nietzsche, does not rest heavily in a single spot, but gaily, lightly, turns and leaps from one position to another. It is possible to speak from only one point at a time, but that does not invalidate the insights of the rest. The individual, through prolonged psychological disciplines, gives up completely all attachment to his personal limitations, idiosyncrasies, hopes and fears, no longer resists the self-annihilation that is prerequisite to rebirth in the realization of truth, and so becomes ripe, at last, for the great at-one-ment. His personal ambitions being totally dissolved, he no longer tries to live but willingly relaxes to whatever may come to pass in him; he becomes, that is to say, an anonymity.” — Joseph Campbell
Yesterday, I had a call with a client and noticed how hard he was on himself, despite all his accomplishments and achievements.
Today, I just got off a call with a client who has achieved what most people will never achieve in their lifetime.
We should give ourselves the same grace we give our best friends.
I have three spots left for 1-on-1 coaching. Apply here. It's not for everyone, but if you are committed to your growth and you know you are capable of so much more. Let’s chat.
