"In October 2020, I returned from paternity leave at 50% of my annual quota with only Q4 left to close the gap.

The situation:- $1M still needed to hit my annual quota

  • Unqualified pipeline which I hadn’t touched in months.

  • Fear that I would lose credibility as a coach if I missed quota.

  • I closed $1.2M ACV by January and finished at 110% of plan.

  • How? I stopped chasing every deal and started executing a proven system:

  • Built a 12-week sprint plan (using The 12 Week Year framework)

  • Ruthlessly prioritized only deals that would actually close

  • Focused on RGAs (Revenue Generating Activities) and cut everything else

  • Showed up fully every single day with a clear execution plan
